Stubbs Dental Supports Canines With a Cause with $1,600 Donation

At Stubbs Dental, we believe in the importance of community support and giving back to those in need. That’s why we’re excited to announce our recent donation of $1,600 to Canines With a Cause through our monthly donation program.

Canines With a Cause (CWAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to pairing rescued dogs with military veterans living with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST). These dogs become psychiatric service or assistance dogs, offering vital support to veterans on their journey toward healing. Thanks to the generosity of CWAC’s donors, the organization is able to provide training classes to veterans completely free of charge. These classes not only teach veterans how to train their dogs but also help them become experienced handlers, building confidence along the way.

The mission of Canines With a Cause is to unite veterans and rescued dogs to heal emotional and psychological wounds. By adhering closely to this mission, CWAC plays a crucial role in moving veterans from a state of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) toward Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG). Through their commitment to positive growth, CWAC becomes an essential step in the veterans' path toward healing. Moreover, the organization develops creative and individualized training solutions to address the mental, emotional, and economic challenges veterans face today.
