Today, we're thrilled to share a heartwarming story of collaboration and compassion as we join forces with Jackson Liljenquist, a dedicated pre-dental student at BYU, to support a remarkable cause.
Through our monthly donation program, we recently had the privilege of contributing to Jackson's dental charity project, which focuses on transforming the life of Monisak, a resilient individual facing dental challenges in Cambodia.
Monisak's journey is one of determination, having faced adversity since childhood in impoverished conditions after the loss of his father. The turning point came six years ago when a tragic accident left him with five front teeth knocked out. In the absence of affordable dental care in Cambodia, Monisak could only resort to enduring discomfort and difficulties in daily activities.
Having served alongside Monisak during his missionary work, Jackson witnessed the ongoing struggles with dental health that persisted even after his return. Despite these challenges, Monisak is unwavering in his pursuit of a better life for his family, seeking education and endeavoring to establish his own business.
Recognizing the urgency of Monisak's situation, Jackson approached us at Stubbs Dental. We happily committed to supporting this noble cause by donating $1,600 from our monthly donation fund.
